We met Mr. Greg (who was a teacher at Panamerican School) and his friend Kelly. We had a stroll through Princess Iland`s Park. Alice rented a bike and a helmet.
We spotted the Wild Rose, the symbol flower of Alberta.
E acreditem: a carne aqui é boa!!!!
The other day, Quico and Alice met Raimunda in a restaurant. She's a Brazilian who has lived in Canada for almost 30 years. A couple of days after, we went to her birthday with Rachel and Eduardo, also Brazilian. They have two kids, whom we did not meet for they are in Brazil with the grandparents.
We had dinner at Raimunda's house, a barbecue made by her husband, a Canadian. Believe it: the meat here is good!!!
After dinner we went to the community vegetable garden where she rents a patch. We ended bringing two bags full of vegetables. Yummy!
kisses,
Marina
