Shenandoah again!

Na semana passada (31/10 e 01/11) nós fomos novamente visitar o Parque Shenandoah. Nós queríamos ver o parque no outono por que, como vocês podem ver, é uma estação muito especial por aqui. Foi realmente muito bonito. Desta vez nós não ficamos em um hotel dentro do parque por que estava tudo lotado. Então dormimos num hotel em uma cidadezinha próxima.

Last weekend (10/31 and 11/01) we went, once again, to Shenandoah Park. We wanted to see the park trees during the fall. And it was really beautiful. At this time we didn’t sleep there (there was no vacant room). Then we slept in a hotel in a town near the park.

No domingo visitamos uma estação de Sky (Massanutten). Também era um lugar muito bonito, mas não vimos nenhuma neve!

At Sunday morning we visited a sky resort (Massanutten). It was very beautiful, but there wasn’t any snow.

No alto de uma das montanhas tinha uma trilha. Chegamos lá e a trilha estava fechada. Motivo: ursos! Vejam a foto abaixo que tirei do aviso que tinha em uma árvore no início da trilha:

When we got to the top of one of the mountains there was a trail that was closed. Why? BEARS!
