Weekend

Last Saturday we went to Baltimore (MD) to visit the Edgar Alan Poe’s house – very spooky… – and to walk around the harbor area. The weather was beautiful and there were lots of people outside.
Sábado nós fomos passear em Baltimore (MD). Visitamos a casa em que Edgar Alan Poe morou e ainda passeamos no calçadão na antiga área portuária. Como o tempo estava muito bom (e quente!) estava tudo cheio de gente.

Sunday Alice and Quico went to the swimming pool. Here in Virginia ALL the outside swimming pools open during the Memorial Day holiday (May 25th) and close in the Labor Day Holiday (September 1st). So this was our first day in the pool since we’ve been living here.
No domingo o Quico e a Alice foram tomar banho de piscin. Aqui na Virginia TODAS as piscinas abrem no feriado de Memorial Day (25 de maio) e fecham no feriado de Labor Day (1º. de setembro). Logo, esse foi o nosso primeiro dia de piscina aqui.

Alice and Quico stayed in the pool during 2 hours! At night Alice was exhausted!
Eles ficaram mais de 2 horas na piscina e à noite a Alice estava exausta!

Monday the weather wasn’t so good and at the exactly moment we were living the apartment to the pool started to rain! However Alice was so excited about the pool that we went there anyway. We? No ! - I only went to see her because was too cold for me! Quico and Alice went inside the pool and I was just watching! Hehehe….
Na segunda-feira (feriado) o tempo já não estava mais tão bom e bem quando saíamos de casa para a piscina começou a chover! Mas a Alice estava tão animada que quis tomar banho de piscina com chuva mesmo. Eu, é claro que só fui para ver! – estava muito frio para o meu gosto! Hehehehe...
