Anselmo (Quico’s cousin) came from Brazil on Tuesday, April 7th. It was our spring break and then we could have a little trip together. We went to New York City by car using another route this time. Selmo had suggested us to take the ferry in Lewes, NJ crossing the Delaware Bay to Caple May, NJ and drive to Atlantic City, also in New Jersey. We thought it was a great idea, so we did it!
Achamos a idéia ótima e assim o fizemos.

Waiting to take the ferry… Esperando pela balsa...
Going to the ferry… Entrando na balsa...
Enjoying the ferry and the bay view. Curtido o passeio e a vista.
Here it is Atlantic City where we slept one night. Atlantic City is famous because of it’s casinos.
Here is a picture inside one of the big buildings where there are some stores and casinos. It is interesting because, as you can see, it seems to be outdoors. The ceiling is painted to be the sky and all the lights and the stores frames give you the mock impression that you aren’t indoors.
At night Quico and Selmo went to a casino to play a little.

Here is our hotel room’s view. Vista do hotel.
Along the beach there is a very nice sidewalk and the casinos buildings.
The beach is nothing impressive and it looks like the beaches in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil (unfortunately - hehehe!).
kisses,
Marina
