First Barbecue

This was the first family meeting we had here in Brazil. It was at Marisa (Quico’s sister) house and it was a very warm welcome from our family. We had a very delicious barbecue. Hum…..

In the cold days (about 37F) we were having a soup in front the fire place. Don't forget we are in the south hemisphere and so it is winter this time of the year!

Goodbye

Here is the cake from the farewell party my friends from the library had organized for me. I loved the party: the food, the people and the present (the scrapbook album they had made just for me). It was really special!

Kings Dominium

I am late with the posts but as you know we just had moved back to Brazil and so we didn't have enough time to do everything we would like to do. Well, this post is part of what we did in our summer vacation in the US.
Alice had asked us to bring her to Kings Dominium (an amusement park) and so we did it. It would be a present to her but, it was also a present for all of us. Our day over there was great!

This park is about 1 hour and a half from Manassas through the south and close to Richmond (Virginia's capital).
