Nashville: second part

In our third day in Nashville we spent some time in a nice and interesting museum: Adventure Science Center. Most of the things were hands-on activities and Alice enjoyed herself a lot. It reminded us a little the PUC museum in Porto Alegre.
No nosso terceiro dia em Nashville nos divertimos em um museu de ciências: Adventure Science Center. A maior parte das atividades eram interativas e a Alice aproveitou muito. Lembrou-nos o museu da PUC de Porto Alegre.

Here is one of the things I liked the most in this country. We can leave our jackets in a common hanger and no one will take it.
Aqui tem um exemplo de uma das coisas que mais gosto aqui neste país. Podemos deixar casacos e bolsas em lugares públicos (neste caso no saguão de entrada do museu) e ninguém pega.

At the end of this sticky work they left the cookies with a cup of milk under the Christmas tree.

Depois de toda essa melecança deixaram umas bolachinhas e leite para o Papai Noel.

During the day before Christmas Alice also made, by herself, a delicious drink that she invented. Just in case, here is the recipe:

No dia 24 à tarde a Alice resolveu que queria fazer uns drinks. Imaginou a receita, saiu com o Quico para comprar os ingredientes e fez a bebida com todo o primor. Caso se interessem, aqui vai a receita:

On the Christmas night (December 25th) we went to a dinner to Petra’s house. The food was delicious and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. It was a very international meeting. There were people from Mexico, El Salvador, India, Serbia, Sudan, Brazil, Holland and others. This is other thing I like most in living here in the USA: cultural diversity.
Na noite do dia 25 de dezembro fomos jantar na casa da amiga do Edu e da Adri, a Petra. A comida estava ótima e nós aproveitamos bastante. Foi um encontro internacional. Tinha pessoas de vários países: México, El Salvador, Índia, Sérvia, Sudão, Brasil, Holanda e outros. Essa é outra das coisas que adoro aqui: a diversidade cultural.
