Sunday when we were skating we could hear some background music. Can you believe that was Brazilian music? Yes. And the last one we heard was “Águas de Março” from Tom Jobim.
Como eu adoro essa música resolvi procurar por ela na internet. Achei tanto a versão em português quanto a em inglês e ambas cantadas pelo próprio Tom Jobim.
I love this music so I tried to find it on the internet. I found two versions: English and Portuguese, and both of them sung by Tom Jobim!
Para aqueles que não sabem, foi o próprio Tom que vez a versão em inglês da letra. Acho isso o máximo! A versão em inglês ficou tão boa quanto a em português o que, confirma que ele era , realmente, um grande artista.
For those who don’t know, Tom Jobim wrote, his own, English version of this song and it is very beautiful like the Portuguese version. He was a great artist – no doubts!
