New Years - 2011!

For the New Years Eve we went to Canmore and Banff.

Just have a look what we could see from the hotel bed!
No Ano Novo nós fomos para Canmore e Banff. Mais uma vez...
Só vejam a vista da nossa cama de hotel!

We got there on the 30th (Thursday) evening and met the triplets family who went one day before us.

In the hotel there is an indoor pool with a big toboggan. The kids had fun swimming and tobogganing!

Nós fomos para lá no dia 30 (quinta-feira) e nos encontramos com a família dos tri, que foram um dia antes da gente.

No hotel tem uma piscina com um super tobogã de onde as crianças não queria sair!

On the 31st – last day of the year – we went to Lake Louise. This time to iceskating because the lake is frozen this time of the year!
The lake still beautiful even though we could’t see all that wonderful blue water!
No 31 nós fomos passear, durante o dia, no Lake Louise e, desta vez fomos para patinar. Isso mesmo! O lago está congelado. A paisagem, estava linda, apesar de não podermos apreciar a beleza do azul da água do lago!

At night we (three of us and the triplets family) went to a pub for a special dinner. It was delicious!

À noite fomos jantar (nós três e a família dos tri) em um pub próximo do hotel. O jantar estava delicioso!

Later, we went back to hotel and from our room we cheered with a champagne and watched the fireworks from the window. Why? It was really cold!
Depois do jantar voltamos para o hotel, pois estava MUITO frio! Passamos a virada em um dos quartos. Brindamos com champagne e assistimos os fogos da janela. Muito atípico, mas legal!

Anyway, it was great: friends and kids having fun together.
Afinal, estávamos no meio de amigos, com as montanhas ao fundo e com as crianças se divertindo.
